Do you ever find yourself spending a whole afternoon and a tank of gas driving from store to store trying to find the best deals? With the ever escalating food and gas prices how would anyone ever stay afloat? Here are several recommendations to help your family survive and curve your financial stress.
It is important to stream-line all of your family needs. Take an inventory of all the essentials that are needed to support your family. Some of these essential may be: work, school, church, extra curricular activities, relatives, ect. Coordinate family schedules and try to be time and trip efficient. If for instance you need to go grocery shopping and your son has to go to soccer practice, then attempt to make just one trip. Drop him off at practice first and then run your errands.
When ever possible use the internet to net work your community. Find out if there are any other parents on your son's league that may also need to shop that day. Perhaps you can join a local carpool or initiate one through your work or church. Digital technologies provide consumers with more informed choices. The internet is a powerful tool, and best of all you can make it work for you to save a lot of time and money. You can become informed with all of the latest neighborhood events, product information, special offers and coupons by using the internet.
With gas prices the way they are now a days, who can afford to drive from city to city shopping for items here and there? The few dollars that you saved driving to the next city for a sale you would have spent on gas alone just getting there. Rather than driving all over town trying to find the best prices for food, clothing, and family supplies, try searching the internet for local finds that are right in your own neighborhood.
If you can streamline your family's needs, use the internet to research local resources, network with your neighbors to strategies shopping and driving needs we can all save time, money, and live in a greener community.
